Senior Journalist Barkha Dutt receives threats post JNU reportage

Senior Journalist and prominent NDTV anchor Barkha Dutt has received anonymous threats calls post her reportage on JNU. Dutt appeared in the court yesterday to record her statement and tweeted, “Many of you asked- Yes post FIR I appeared today at Metropolitan Magistrate Court to give a statement against stalking, death threat & abuse.”

In her next tweet she added, “The court has now taken cognizance of fact that since 4th of March, I have received anonymous abusive death threats for my reportage on JNU.”

It can be recalled that Dutt has been covering the JNU issue since a month and recently interviewed the JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar after he was released on interim bail.
