R K Arora joins Zee Media Corporation as COO

After his stint with News Nation as CEO Arora is all set to start his a new innings with Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL).

Highly Placed sources confirmed to exchange4media that Arora joins ZMCL today as COO of ZMCL. He will handle all the ten channels under the umbrella of ZMCL.

The Network comprises two national channels Zee News (Hindi News) and Zee Business (Hindi Business News). In addition it has regional news channels, Zee 24 Taas (Marathi), Zee Sangam (UP & UK), Zee Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh (Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh), Zee Marudhara (Rajasthan), Zee Punjab Haryana Himachal and Zee Kalinga (Odisha). Additionally the Company operates 2 regional news channels through its subsidiaries viz. 24 Ghanta (Bengali) through Zee Akaash News Pvt Ltd and Maurya TV (Bihar & Jharkhand) through Maurya TV Private Limited.

Arora stepped down as CEO from News Nation last week.  Arora has an experience of 24 years and brings with him industry expertise and formidable credentials.

A chartered accountant by profession, Arora has been instrumental in the company’s transformation and growth. He has extensive experience in the field of distribution, finance and profitability of companies.
