94.3 Radio One completes a decade in style

94.3 Radio One, the radio brand owned by Next Radio, a subsidiary of Next Mediaworks, has completed 10 years and is beginning the celebration of this special milestone starting September 4, 2017 with celebrations going on till January 2018.


The 10 year celebration has a multitude of chapters that will be revealed on air, in print and in the digital space.  


“Our listeners have given us a ‘10 on 10’ rating, through on air and Facebook testimonials, which is also evident from our cities being the MOST LIKED RADIO STATIONS ON OUR FACEBOOK CITY PAGES as compared to any other radio station and we are hugely grateful for this ’10 on 10’ feeling.  We have special new programming on air with Kabir Bedi who will highlight the best things that have happened in the world in the last 10 years.  We will have many Indian and International star bytes on air at this time ranging from Jamie Foxx, Rita Ora, Diana King to Indian greats like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma, Arjun Rampal, Ayushman Khurana to name a few. To get kids in Delhi Mumbai and Bangalore excited , we are the first to commemorate 10 years of the international hit song ‘Too late to apologize” by the global band ONE REPUBLIC.  This is being endorsed by Ryan Tedder the front man of the famous band,” said Anil Machado, Chief Content and Talent Officer at 94.3 Radio One. The station will be inviting kids to the radio station to play their version of this song as part of its 10 year celebration.  


To drive the digital campaign for the 10 year celebration, a special song created by THE RADIO ONE BAND called ‘THANK YOU FOR THE 10 on 10 feeling” can be seen at “There is also a special contest to complete the lyrics of the song and participants can win exciting prizes,” added Machado.
