HT's Vivek Khanna, CEO and Ratul Bhaduri, CFO step down from their roles




After the recent exit of Bobby Ghosh, who was the Editor-In-Chief of Hindustan Times, there is news of some more high profile exits within the organisation.




Highly placed sources have told e4m that Vivek Khanna, CEO, Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd (HMVL) and Ratul Bhaduri CFO (HMVL), have also stepped down from their respective roles.




Khanna joined HT Media in 2008 after working for more than 16 years, of which 11 were spent with Hindustan Lever Limited (HLL). He led strategic and marketing initiatives - segmentation, positioning, advertising & new product development at HLL. Prior to joining HT, he was Director Marketing with Aviva responsible for the Company's product & marketing strategy. At HT Media, Khanna set up the Ad for Equity (AFE) business. He ran the AFE business and the Mint business for the last five years, growing these from insignificant numbers to a strong & significant size. He is a Post Graduate in Management from IIM - Ahmedabad and Economics Graduate from the University of Delhi.




Bhaduri joined HMVL in September 2016 and prior to that he was working as SVP, Finance, CK Birla Group.  He has also served stints at Nestle and Ranbaxy.




Prior to HT, Bhaduri held global/regional leadership positions with conglomerates, including Fortune 500 MNCs in FMCG and Pharma Companies. In the Finance and Business Leadership roles handled by him, he was responsible for driving Business strategy, M&A, Corporate governance and Risk management.
