Arun Anant bids adieu to Hindustan Times

Arun Anant will be exiting Hindustan Times, in his role as Director of Revenue and Strategy, at the end of this month. Prior to joining Hindustan Times in 2013, Anant was CEO, The Hindu. 

I have had a great innings in Hindustan Times,” said Anant confirming the news of his exit to exchange4media. “I want to focus more on Taxsutra a company I  promoted along with two others,” he added.

Anant has over 25 years of experience in advertising and marketing, and has worked across print and television medium.

In his advertising career, he had built several strong brands for Hindustan Unilever, Cadbury, J&J, and Britannia, among others, in account servicing, account planning and market research.

Anant is a a postgraduate in management from IIM Ahmedabad, and an engineer from IIT-Varanasi (BHU).

The group released the Little Hearts online-only campaign, #BreakSomeHearts, early this year and is on the path to make many more of its brands available on the digital platform
