RTB House, , a global ad tech company providing state-of-the-art retargeting technology for top advertisers worldwide, has expanded into India in order to further strengthen its Asia Pacific presence. It announced the appointment of an industry professional and former Director of Sales for Criteo, Kshitiz Randhir Shori, as its new Country Manager.

With a 35% internet penetration and rising propensity towards online consumer spending, India represents an exciting opportunity for e-commerce and new technology industries. The rapidly growing internet adoption rate is fuelling a tectonic shift in India’s digital revolution, which provides RTB House with an opportunity to deliver advanced retargeting solutions to new age e-businesses.

The company’s expansion into India comes close on the heels of a record-breaking 2016,  which saw the company bolster its workforce by more than 40%, launch operations in MEA region, Australia and New Zealand, and also increase revenue by over 140%.

Kshitiz Randhir Shori will lead business operations in the new region as Country Manager. Previously he was India Director for Sales of the publicly listed Criteo. With over 15 years of experience across a multitude of prestigious internet companies, Shori is an industry expert in the digital advertising landscape and has been at its forefront, having worked with key stakeholders of digital media across the globe.

Jakub Ratajczak, Managing Director, APAC, explains, “Our rapid growth and addition of a new market to our portfolio affirms our goals of expanding, leading and innovating in the industry. The Indian digital economy has the potential to become the world's 3rd-largest within the next decade. E-businesses will grow manifold and will require our innovative digital marketing solutions in order to tap into the next billion digital natives.”

He adds, “We’re excited to welcome Kshitiz on board. His extensive understanding of the industry’s challenges and opportunities backed by strong body of work will help us to develop and execute long-term market defining strategies within the new market.”

Shori, the newly appointed RTB House Country Manager, expresses his excitement for digital ad growth in the region. “I am really excited to join RTB House and to be an integral part of the ad-tech eco system where the sacrosanct focus is on delivering actual sales for our advertisers with the help of next generation technologies like deep learning and artificial intelligence. For e-commerce advertisers we become their indispensable sales channel rather than just a marketing channel working as a close partner to help meet their performance goals. India is the fastest growing country in e-commerce, the value of online sales in India is predicted to reach $48 billion by 2020 as per Forrester, so truly exciting times ahead,” he said.

Currently RTB House is one of the few companies in the world to have developed and implemented its own proprietary technology for purchasing advertisements in the RTB model (real-time bidding) – a solution in which buyers participate in real-time advertising space auctions. The company operates worldwide and runs 1000+ unique campaigns for global brands in more than 40 markets across Europe, LATAM, APAC and MEA region. The RTB team is made up of over 200 people possessing expertise across the domains of performance marketing experts, analysts, sales and customer care specialists, programmers and others.
