Amway India promotes Gursharan Singh Cheema

Amway India Enterprises has announced the promotion of Gursharan Singh Cheema as the Regional Head - North. In his new role, Cheema will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the North region, including the states of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. He will be based at Amway’s regional office in New Delhi. Cheema takes over the responsibility from Achinta Banerjie, who has been promoted to a new role in the head office.

Cheema has been associated with Amway for over 15 years and has held various leadership positions in functions such as Sales, Operations and Distributor Relations at Amway. He was instrumental in starting the operations of the company in Delhi and West Bengal.

Commenting on the development, William S Pinckney, Managing Director & CEO, Amway India said, “Cheema has always worked diligently for the growth of the organisation. He has played a significant role in leading the state of West Bengal to the growth path.”

Cheema has overall experience of over 25 years in diverse fields, including sales, operations, relationship and crisis management and customer services. Prior to joining Amway in 1997, he had worked with Taj Trade & Transport, where he managed the sales and operations of Taj Hotels at various locations, including Delhi, Rajasthan and Chennai.
