Property site MagicBricks.com launches ‘Magic SMS’

MagicBricks.com, a property website promoted by the Times Group, has launched an SMS initiative called ‘Magic SMS’ which allows users to send SMS queries to individual property sellers, agents, builders, developers and buyers regarding listings on the website.

Elaborating on the new service, R Sundar, President, Times Business Solutions, said, “In line with MagicBricks.com’s mission to provide users with the processes required to make informed decisions pertaining to all their property requirements, Magic SMS provides users with another channel of contact, extending their reach, range and approachability. Path breaking services such as this have propelled MagicBricks.com to become the No. 1 property portal in the country.”

Through the Magic SMS service, users can send free SMSes through the website to sellers for properties and buyers for requirements that interest them. The user-friendly interface creates a message that is sent to the person who has listed the property or requirement.

According to Sharad Sharma, Branch Head, Brand Realty, “Magic SMS speeds up the whole communication process and we don’t have to wait to access the Internet and locate leads. I can speak to the person from wherever I am without wasting time. It is this kind of service from MagicBricks.com that adds a lot of value to our business.”

The sender’s name, mobile number and the relevant identity code is sent in short message to the recipient. This allows the buyer and seller to communicate with each other directly.

MagicBricks.com has a database of online properties across more than 25 cities in India. The site claims to have a database of over 1.25 lakh properties available on the site.
