Patrika News leads in video views on FB among news publishers in July: Vidooly data

Media conglomerate, Patrika Group, has achieved one more milestone through its digital platforms. Amongst news portals in the country, Patrika has become number 1 in video views amongst news publishers on Facebook according to the results released by Vidooly (July 2017).

According to the data released recently, Patrika News has achieved 32.3 million views on its Facebook videos during the month of July, leaving competitors like Navbharat Times Online (25.4 million), Amar Ujala (23.5 million), Times of India (22.6 million) and Punjab Kesari (UP) (22.1 million), far behind.

To conquer the rapidly growing video domain, Patrika News developed a comprehensive video strategy on Facebook page, where videos play a prominent role in enhancing user experience. With the quality and authenticity of its video content, Patrika News has gradually become the most favorite video publisher amongst netizens.

The digital arm of the Patrika Group has registered a staggering growth over the past few years. In the month of July 2017, Patrika Digital accounted for a total of 234+ million page-views on its websites, wap and mobile apps. In the same period, the number of total visits and unique visitors was over 140 million and 59 million, respectively.

Patrika Digital has three dedicated news content portals -, and All these websites are available in the WAP (mobile site) formats as well. With this, the Group also serves news through its popular mobile apps – Patrika and Rajasthan Patrika.
