DDB MudraMax bags digital mandate for Hitachi & Huawei

DDB MudraMax has added the digital business of Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (HHLI) and Huawei to its kitty. The incumbent on HHLI is Dentsu Digital and there is no incumbent agency for Huawei.

In a prepared statement, Suraj Nagappa, Group Business Director, DDB MudraMax, Digital said, “Both Hitachi and Huawei are important wins for us. We won the business in a closely contested pitch with five agencies. We are happy that our clients have shown faith in us and are excited to work with both teams.”

A telecom infrastructure and solutions company, Huawei’s relationship with India goes back to 1999, when it established the first overseas R&D Centre in Bangalore. Over the years, Huawei India has partnered with the Indian government, public sector companies and private enterprises to enable rapid growth of telecommunication services in the country. Today, India is Huawei’s second largest market outside of China with an employee base of over 6,200 employees across the length and breadth of the country.

Sathyamurthy Namakkal, President and Head of Media, DDB MudraMax added, “With our full fledged and highly qualified digital teams across offices, we are best poised to offer complex and first-of-its-kind digital solutions to our clients. Huawei and Hitachi are very exciting wins for us with immense scope for creative digital solutions.”
