Meenakshi
Madhvani for Media
Meenakshi Madhvani started her career in 1980 with Lintas in account
planning and account management before moving to media in 1992, winning
the first AOR in India - 'The return of Coke' - after a 20-year absence.
She was invited by the Carat Group in February 1997 to set up Carat
India, which was the first media independent agency in India. Meenakshi
was selected by Ad Age Global in Jan 2000 as one of the 17 women across
the world who is changing the face of the advertising industry.
Meenakshi was elected to the Board of Governors of the MRUC (Media
Research Users' Council) in 2002 and appointed as Member of the Management
Committee of The Advertising Club Bombay in 2002.

A communication planning specialist, Rajat Sethi has over 23 years
of experience in the marketing communications business. Prior to joining
Wunderman, he was President of MRM in India and sub-regional Director
for Asia-Pacific. Rajat has been credited with developing one of the
region's largest loyalty programmes for Hero Honda Motorcycles in
addition to managing the direct communications for ABN Amro, General
Motors, Lufthansa and Johnson & Johnson.
At Wunderman India, Rajat manages marketing communications for Citibank,
Ford, Canon, DHL, Taj Hotels and Oracle.
Rajat was awarded the HK McCann Leadership Award in recognition of
the success of the Indian operations of MRM and is a regular speaker
at several management institutes in India.

Vivek Basrur has led India's leading independent direct marketing
agency, DIREM, since it was founded in 1989, to its current position
as the specialist in loyalty and relationship marketing. The agency
has a strong full-service track record, fusing creative, database
and analytics for clients like AT&T, British Airways, Bharat Petroleum,
ICICI Prudential, Jet Airways, Mattel, Titan and Unilever. He started
his career with Asian Paints, India's largest paints marketer, rising
to the position of Advertising Manager. He then joined Rediffusion
Advertising (now a DY&R company), where he was a key team member on
India's first election advertising campaign. He later headed up the
agency in South India, working on sports, automotive, toys, fashion
and garment brands. |
