Span joins roster of seven advertisers in a quarter

Span Communication has joined the roster of seven clients in the past three months. The agency is now on the panel of Central Cottage Industries, ITDC, University of Delhi, Ghaziabad Development Authority, KRIBHCO, Uttarakhand Government, IFCI (The Industrial Finance Corporation of India) and is solely handling the campaign for State Election Commission, Uttar Pradesh.

The agency has also won the creative and media duties for Sun Developers, a real estate company based in Noida after a multi-agency pitch held in the capital. The cumulative media spends of all the businesses put together is in the vicinity of Rs 60-70 crore.

Talking to exchange4media about the new wins, Naresh Kheterpal, CEO, Span Communications said, “This year we have added some prestigious accounts to our kitty apart from retaining old ones. Team Span is very excited and looks forward to doing some great work on these accounts. Although there is slowdown in the economy, this year looks more promising for Span.”

The campaign for State Election Commission in UP has already begun. Span Communications has bagged the project being on the panel of DIPR, UP, on the merit of executing several election campaigns in the past. This includes TV and radio for the recently concluded MCD Elections and National Voters Day campaign.

While KRIBHCO, ITDC and Ghaziabad Development Authority are businesses on which Span has been retained, all others are addition to Span’s kitty.

It may be noted that IFCI has also empanelled agencies such as Concept, Adfactors, Newfields and Perfect 10. ITDC’s panel also includes Pamm, Concept, Enthrall, Alaknanda, Prabhatam, Crayons, Square, Adfactor and Goldmine. Cottage Industries has Crayons, Newfields, Aakar, Centum, Mode, Promodome on its panel apart from Span. Uttarakhand Government also has 12 agencies on its roster.
