Sambit Mohanty quits Bates India

Sambit Mohanty, Executive Creative Director, Bates India has quit from the company. Speaking to exchange4media, he confirmed the development. However, he did not reveal where he is headed next.

Mohanty joined Bates in 2010 from Brand Planet Elephant, where he was the Executive Creative Director.

He has over 12 years of experience in the advertising world. An alumnus of IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communication), he started his career as a copywriter with McCann Erickson. He has also worked at Euro RSCG, Lowe, Publicis, Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) and Leo Burnett.

Some of his prominent creative campaigns include the ‘Full of Life’ launch campaign for Chevrolet Spark and ‘Where’s the Pulp?’ campaign for Minute Maid Pulpy Orange. He has worked on an array of brands such as Dettol, Mortein, Harpic, Cherry Blossom, Perfetti Van Melle, Intel, MSN, Tanishq, Britannia, Nestlé (Maggi), HP, ABN Amro, Indian Express, BBC World, Park Hotels and Religare.
