Events company Fountainhead has roped in Arun Sequeira as Associate Director, South. It is learnt that he will take charge from August 1, 2012.
Sequeira joins from Radio One, where he had a five-year stint.
He will provide southern brands with experiential marketing solutions as well as garner revenues from sponsorship opportunities that arise outside the southern turf.
On foraying into the events industry, Sequeira told exchange4media, “It’s quite a challenge as it is a new domain. It is an opportunity to build a strong team that will break new grounds through innovation and quality service.”
Sequeira has been in the media, sales and marketing industry for 20 years. He worked with The Times of India for 13 years before moving to the radio industry with Radio One.
Commenting on Sequeira’s appointment, Neale Murray, Managing Director, Fountainhead said, “We are very excited to have Arun with us because he comes with many solid years of experience at very senior positions in the media. We are entrusting him with the whole of the southern operations.”
Fountainhead commenced operations in February 1995. The founders at Fountainhead believe that communicating through experiences is more powerful than other medium and that it is fast becoming a critical part of a brand’s marketing mix.
