A Hindi magazine targeted at bureaucrats and officers ‘Officers Times’ launched yesterday. The monthly magazine is brought by Praveen Jakhar, former investigative editor of Rajasthan Patrika.
Talking to exchange4media, Praveen Jakhar, Editor and Publisher said, “The objective behind launching this magazine is to highlight the works of army officers as they are very active members of our society.”
Officers Time will showcase special works done by army men. The print run of the magazine is approximately 5000. It has a cover price of Rs 100.
Jakhar said, “There are only two magazine dedicated to officers but they are in English. This is the right time to launch a Hindi magazine.”
The digital platform is being used to market the magazine. Social networking pages have been created to interact with readers.
The USP of the magazine is its size. To give a different look, the magazine is 27 cm in height and 17 cm in breadth.
Advertisers from various verticals such as lifestyle and banking are taking interest in the publication. The ad-edit ratio of the magazine is 40:60. The distribution will be through newsstands.
The magazine will be sent to all the officers’ academies and army headquarters in the country.
