Amar Ujala Publications along with Chandigarh police, under the aegis of UT Administration, has come up with a unique community-connect initiative – The Amar Ujala Chandigarh Police Gully Cricket League 2012.
In the process, Amar Ujala and Chandigarh Police have identified 12 causes that the enrolled teams will be playing to support such as Drugs, Chain Snatching, Eve Teasing, Save Girl Child, Noise Pollution, Dowry Abuse, etc.
Commenting on the initiative, Sunil Mutreja, Executive Director, Amar Ujala Publications said, “We are very excited to have gotten this opportunity. The cricket tournament that stared on March 30 will be played till May 12, 2012.
