Vimal Pan Masala chooses Yang over Mudra

Post wins like DLF Pramerica and Orris Infrastructure, Yang continued their winning spree, adding Vimal Pan Masala to its list of clients. The incumbent on the account is Mudra Delhi. One of the largest selling Pan Masala brands in the popular segment of the market, Vimal Pan Masala spends around 15 crores on its communication activities each year.

Mudra Delhi had won the business in 2009, post a multi-agency pitch, from Ogilvy & Mather. Interestingly, Managing Partners of Yang – Sanjay Sharma and Anil Verma both - had worked on the brand during their tenure at Mudra.


Elated with their association with Vimal Pan Masala again, Sanjay Sharma, Managing Partner, Yang, said, “We have nurtured this brand and have been partners in its growth-creating, clutter-breaking communication for the brand during our Mudra days. Lalwani group recognizes this and has hence, entrusted the duties for Vimal to us at Yang. It’s heartening to begin the New Year on such a high note.”


Anil Verma, Managing Partner, Yang, added, “Vimal as a brand has been very aggressive and creative in its communication for the last few years and we aim to take the legacy forward. This is a very competitive category and therefore, engagement with the consumer is a big challenge. We hope to work on this aspect and create some path breaking communication in the coming days.”
